Reasons California Contractors Can Be Thankful This Season

As Thanksgiving approaches, California contractors have plenty to be grateful for. In a state that’s constantly growing and innovating, opportunities abound for skilled, licensed professionals who help shape the landscape—literally and figuratively.
Contractors can be thankful for a thriving construction market that offers steady work, from custom homes to large commercial builds. With a California State License Board (CSLB) license, they earn credibility, legal protection, and the ability to bid on high-value projects. That license isn’t just paperwork—it’s proof of professionalism and integrity.
There’s also gratitude in independence and entrepreneurship. Licensed contractors can run their own businesses, hire crews, and take pride in their craftsmanship. California’s focus on innovation and sustainability—from green building codes to renewable energy projects—means contractors get to work at the forefront of modern construction.
Beyond the job site, contractors benefit from strong trade networks, training programs, and a culture that truly values quality work.
Contractors can be thankful for the satisfaction of seeing their work become part of California’s skyline and communities. Every foundation poured, wall framed, and roof raised is a reminder that their skill helps build the future of the Golden State.
And we at RMO Agency are thankful for you; our family of contractors and RMOs.

Major California Projects Break Ground Amid Growth Surge

Several high-profile construction projects are moving forward in California, signaling momentum in the state’s infrastructure and development pipeline. One of the biggest is the California Tower at UC Davis, a $3.75-billion hospital expansion with nearly 1 million square feet of new space. It’s designed to boost ICU capacity and meet updated seismic safety standards for health care delivery.
In Sacramento, the Republic FC Stadium broke ground in August 2025 and on track for completion in 2027. The new $252 million, 12,000-seat soccer stadium will anchor the Sacramento Railyards redevelopment and serve the Sacramento Republic FC team.
Meanwhile, the Sites Reservoir project in the Sacramento Valley is gearing up to begin construction in early 2026. Estimated at nearly $3.9 billion, it represents one of the largest water infrastructure builds in recent decades, aiming to deliver water supply resilience for millions of residents.
These projects span healthcare, sports, and water infrastructure — demonstrating a broad push to invest in long-term community needs. With multi-billion-dollar budgets and multi-year timelines, they’re expected to generate thousands of jobs and reshape local neighborhoods.

Reviews
Wendy was fantastic in helping me get set up with an RMO. She was patient, explained the entire process clearly, and made sure I was matched with someone who was a great fit.
Since then, working with Cecy and Val has also been a great experience. The onboarding process has been simple and well organized. Overall, the team has made the process smooth and easy, and I would definitely recommend RMO Agency to others.
